After coming home from work on Friday and having a flood in my apartment because the tenant's above me had their washing machine break down and overflow (for about an hour), I decided to take off for Tampa to see if I could snag a picture with Alex Pettyfer (APSW 4EVA) or anyone else while they were filming here.
The morning started with 2 hour drive to Clearwater Beach where it was rumored the actors had been staying. Unfortunately, they had already checked out when I got there.
They were actually shooting in Ybor City .

I may have caught a glimpse of Mr. Prettyface at about the 2 AM mark but am not sure if it was him or not (it was dark, I was tired and it was from a distance) (turns out it was him). However, all was not lost. Channing Tatum waved and smiled at us every time he drove past (they were filming in a black truck for most of the night)!

I wish we could have stayed a little longer to see if they would take the time to take pictures, but since my adventure had begun at 6:00 AM yesterday morning by 2:00 AM this morning, I was beat and they were not even close to being finished filming.
Even if I did miss getting a pictures with Alex Prettyface and Channing Tatum, the smiles and waves were worth the trip! And I met a great bunch of girls!
Oh, and I got an adorable pair of shoes and a perfect t-shirt for me, so yeah, the trip was definitely worth it!
